Description
All aboard for an unforgettable journey through America’s industrial past on the East Broad Top Train & Trolley Combo Tour! Tucked into Central Pennsylvania’s rolling hills, this immersive heritage experience combines two vintage forms of transportation into one memorable day.
Begin your visit at Orbisonia Station, where you’ll check in and collect your tickets. Then choose one of three daily departures — 10:30 AM, 12:00 PM, or 1:30 PM — and board a beautifully preserved 1916 steam locomotive for a scenic one-hour round trip to Colgate Grove. Watch the landscape unfold through forests, farmland, and pastoral valleys as the locomotive echoes through the mountains. At the mid-point stop, step off for photos or relax at the picnic area before returning to Rockhill Furnace.
Next, walk just a few steps to the Rockhill Trolley Museum, home to restored electric streetcars from the early 1900s. Glide beside Blacklog Creek on a 45-minute ride, then tour the car barns and workshops to see craftsmen keeping rail history alive. Your trolley ticket is valid all day from 11 AM to 4 PM, so you can enjoy any departure after your train ride.
From steam to sparks, this combo captures two eras that once moved America. It’s ideal for families, rail fans, and anyone who wants to step into a living museum where the past still runs on time.
