Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: October 28, 2025
By booking a train tour or travel experience through Train Ride Tours, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please review them carefully before making a reservation.
1. Role of Train Ride Tours
Train Ride Tours acts as a booking facilitator between travelers and independent, licensed railway operators and tour providers (“Vendors”). When you make a reservation through our website or agents, you are entering into a direct agreement with the Vendor responsible for operating your selected experience.
We do not own or operate trains, vehicles, or excursions directly. Vendors are solely responsible for providing, managing, and operating the tours you book.
2. Booking & Payment
All bookings must be made through our official website or an authorized Train Ride Tours representative.
Prices are displayed in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise and are subject to change until your reservation is confirmed.
Payment is typically processed directly through the Vendor’s secure system. You may see their name on your credit card statement.
Train Ride Tours reserves the right to correct pricing errors or cancel bookings affected by incorrect listings or system issues.
3. Confirmation & Travel Documents
Once your booking is complete, you will receive a confirmation email containing trip details, meeting instructions, and Vendor contact information. You are responsible for reviewing these details and ensuring their accuracy.
Please keep your confirmation and identification available when checking in for your experience.
4. Cancellations, Reschedules & Refunds
Cancellation and refund policies vary by Vendor.
Most standard train tours allow free cancellation within 24–72 hours of departure.
Private or multi-day trips may require up to 96 hours’ notice.
Refunds are issued according to the Vendor’s policy and usually processed within 5–10 business days.
No-shows and late arrivals generally are not eligible for refunds.
Full details are outlined in our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
5. Changes by Vendors
Vendors reserve the right to modify, delay, or cancel tours due to weather, safety concerns, maintenance, or other operational reasons. In such cases, you will be offered an alternative date or a refund in accordance with the Vendor’s policy.
Train Ride Tours is not liable for additional costs (such as transportation or lodging) arising from schedule changes.
6. Traveler Responsibilities
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, travelers agree to:
Arrive at the designated meeting point on time.
Follow all instructions provided by guides and operators.
Disclose any health, mobility, or accessibility concerns at the time of booking.
Adhere to all safety rules, park regulations, and local laws.
Guests who fail to comply with safety guidelines or behave disruptively may be denied participation without refund.
7. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against unforeseen events such as illness, weather disruptions, or last-minute cancellations. Optional coverage can be added at checkout or arranged through your agent.
8. Liability Disclaimer
Train Ride Tours and its affiliates are not liable for injury, loss, accident, delay, or other damages resulting from:
The acts, omissions, or negligence of Vendors or third parties.
Natural events, strikes, weather, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.
Traveler negligence, missed departures, or failure to comply with tour instructions.
By participating in any tour, you acknowledge and assume all inherent risks associated with travel, transportation, and outdoor activity.
9. Intellectual Property
All website content — including text, photos, graphics, and trademarks — is the property of Train Ride Tours and may not be copied, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without written permission.
10. Privacy & Data Use
Your personal information is used only to manage bookings, communicate with you, and improve our services. For complete details on how we collect and protect your data, please read our Privacy Policy

11. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute arising from a booking or service with Train Ride Tours shall first be addressed in good faith through direct communication. If unresolved, disputes may be handled through binding arbitration or in a small claims court within Larimer County, Colorado.
